We would love to share new and recent works by Jen Dwyer of Studio J.E.D. - sculptural ceramic lighting that explores the intersections of craft, labor, domesticity, and the body.

OVERVIEW

Jennifer Dwyer's practice merges traditional ceramic techniques with contemporary form to create functional objects that read as sculpture.

Her work examines the quiet architectures of domestic life and the unseen labor embedded within them, through a lens of feminist craft histories and embodied experience.

About Studio J.E.D.

Jen Dwyer is a Brooklyn-based ceramic artist and designer and the founder of Studio J.E.D., a collectible design studio creating sculptural ceramic lighting, furniture, and objects that explore feminist craft histories, domestic labor, materiality, and the body as both site and source. Working between sculpture and functional design, her practice investigates the historical relationship between craft, gender, labor, and domestic space through hand-built ceramic forms and collectible design objects.

After many years working exclusively in fine art, Dwyer released her first collectible design lighting collection at Bergdorf Goodman in 2025 and will debut a new collection of sculptural ceramic lighting and furniture at International Contemporary Furniture Fair, May 17–19, 2026, at the Javits Center in New York City.
