All our lamp names are inspired by incredible female identifying artists in art history, this lamp name came from :) Barbara Hepworth was an English artist and sculptor. Her work exemplifies Modernism and in particular modern sculpture, she created many modular white sculptures in her prolific career.
Our Kusama Lamp is a handcrafted ceramic table lamp inspired by the playful repetition and organic rhythm found in the work of artist Yayoi Kusama. Each piece is wheel-thrown from stoneware clay, hand-painted in either cobalt blue or light pink underglaze, and finished with a clear gloss and 22k gold luster accents.
Featuring elegant brass fittings, a brown cloth cord with a dimmable inline switch, and a tan linen shade, the Kusama Lamp bridges fine art and functional design. Perfect for adding a sculptural touch to side tables, consoles, or bedroom lighting.

She began painting as a child to escape. In 1958, she moved to New York, inspired by the rise of Abstract Expressionism and a letter from Georgia O’Keeffe. Some of her most seminal work includes her dot paintings.)
