The Gathering Table is a handmade ceramic pedestal dining table with a tempered glass top, available in sizes that seat 6 to 14.
In a world that moves faster every year, it feels like we spend less and less time truly together.
We're constantly moving between meetings, errands, emails, and endless notifications. Yet some of life's most meaningful moments happen when we slow down enough to gather around a table.
A family dinner after a long day.
Friends lingering over a meal long after the plates have been cleared.
Holiday traditions passed from one generation to the next.
Quiet Sunday mornings with coffee and conversation.
I designed this handmade ceramic dining table as an invitation to create more of those moments.
Each sculptural pedestal base is individually hand-built from high-fired stoneware in my Brooklyn studio and paired with a crystal-clear tempered glass top that allows the ceramic forms to remain the centerpiece. Every table is made entirely by hand, making each one unique with subtle variations in texture, form, and speckling that celebrate the beauty of handmade craftsmanship.
More than a piece of furniture, this ceramic dining table is designed to become part of your family's story—a place where birthdays are celebrated, holidays are shared, children grow up around the dinner table, friendships deepen, and ordinary evenings become cherished memories.
Because while beautifully made furniture can transform a room, the moments shared around it are what truly transform a home.

My hope is that this table becomes more than a place to eat.
I hope it becomes the place where your family gathers after busy days. Where friends stay for one more cup of coffee. Where traditions begin, stories are shared, laughter fills the room, and memories are made for years to come.
Because in a world that asks us to move faster, gathering around a table reminds us to slow down—and to be fully present with the people we love.
Dining chairs and coordinating sets are also available on the Studio J.E.D. website. The Gathering Dining Table pairs especially beautifully with our Rosella Chair.
