Handmade Ceramic Coffee Table with Tempered Glass Top
Named in honor of pioneering French sculptor Camille Claudel, the Camille Oval Coffee Table celebrates the beauty of sculptural form and the timeless craftsmanship of handmade ceramics. Designed to blur the line between furniture and sculpture, each table is individually hand-built in my Brooklyn studio and made to become the centerpiece of a thoughtfully designed home.
Two sculptural ceramic pedestal bases support a tempered glass top, creating a striking balance of solidity and lightness. The transparent glass allows the handmade ceramic forms to remain the focal point while maintaining an open, airy feel that complements modern, organic modern, Scandinavian, Japandi, and contemporary interiors.
Every ceramic base is hand-sculpted, slowly dried, kiln-fired, sanded, and finished by hand. Because each piece is made individually, subtle variations in texture, form, and glaze ensure that no two tables are exactly alike.
Whether used for gathering with family, entertaining friends, or displaying your favorite books and objects, the Camille Coffee Table is designed to be both functional and enduring.
